Hi, I'm Tania
I was born and raised in the North Peloponnesus and brought up bilingual by a Greek father and a Canadian mother. Dad is a poet and a chef and mum writes about Greek history!
I studied literature in Athens before travelling to Amsterdam to study Art the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. I now share my time between Greece and Holland. A proper foodie with knowledge of Greek History and mythology, a special interest in art and culture but also an appreciation of the weird, funny and offbeat places you find in a city as big and diverse as Athens! I have been helping friends find their way in Greece, according to their interests and personalities for many years, and I'd love to do the same for adventurous travellers. I would do my best to help you find the hidden gems, the off the grid places, and special spots for you in the city of Athens and beyond. I'm excited to share my knowledge in a way that will help visitors enjoy the city as much as possible by sharing the more nuanced things she has to offer along with the beloved classics of course.
I can recommend: Low Budget, Medium budget, Offbeat, Local, Hidden Gems
